Last updated 3 November 2026

Short version: the free tool on Unblur Video processes your video on your own device. The file is not uploaded to our servers.

Your videos

When you choose a video, your browser reads it and your graphics chip enhances it using WebGPU. The video, the preview and the result stay in your browser's memory and are discarded when you close or reload the tab. We never receive them and we can't see them.

Future paid cloud features will upload videos to process them. When that launches, this page will say exactly what is stored and for how long before you can use it.

Your email, if you join the waitlist

If you enter your email for the Pro waitlist, we use it only to tell you when Pro opens. We don't sell it or share it. Ask us and we will delete it.

Analytics and cookies

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or track you across sites. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request logs (such as IP address) to deliver pages. Fonts are served from our own domain.
